Electrical and Control Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Control Engineer to join our team in the Water Utilities Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in design, consultancy, and project delivery.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from water treatment and distribution to wastewater recycling and industrial process water. As an Electrical and Control Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the integration of electrical and instrumentation design with other disciplines, ensuring that designs meet current legislation and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of electrical power distribution designs, control systems, and renewable energy solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality projects that meet their needs.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior engineers, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A HND or higher qualification in electrical, electronic, or control engineering or a related discipline.
  • Chartered status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology or an equivalent body.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical and/or control engineering design/consultancy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
