Job Summary:

The Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer is responsible for developing and implementing effective AML/CFT compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, and acting as a central point of contact for AML-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the credit union's AML/CFT compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, including anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulations.
  • Act as a central point of contact for AML-related queries and provide guidance on compliance matters.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the credit union's overall compliance framework.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and promote a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser), compliance, or financial services qualification is desirable.
  • Experience working in the financial sector or other sectors that involve anti-money laundering compliance is essential.
  • Working knowledge of AML/CFT compliance principles and practices is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is necessary.
