Job Title: Urgent Residential Support Worker

Are you passionate about providing care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Tipperary.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users. You will be responsible for contributing to their well-being and development, promoting dignity and respect, and fostering independence.

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support services. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred plans
  • Support service users in achieving their goals and aspirations
  • Provide direct practical help and support with daily living activities
  • Develop community networks and encourage participation in valued roles within the community

Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 Qualification in Health or Social Care
  • 6 months experience in a similar role working with adults with an intellectual disability
  • A full clean Irish/EU driving licence
