Site Management Opportunity

Elk Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our client's growing team based in Sligo. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Site Manager to make a real impact in an innovative and expanding organization.

  • Deliver quality products to end users while fostering professional and amicable relations with design teams and client representatives.
  • Maintain the highest standards in health & safety, quality and client service ensuring that contracts are completed safely, on schedule and snag free.
  • Report progress accurately and in a timely fashion to Contracts Managers.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors ensuring their work meets required standards with minimal rework.
  • Plan, co-ordinate, execute works and deliver projects as per contract documents.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with construction management teams, subcontractors and supply chain.
  • Resource and schedule work in line with project construction programs.
  • Collaborate with Project QS advising on upcoming issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-5 Years experience acting as Site Manager.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction/Project Management (desirable).
  • Deep understanding of the construction industry and project execution.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office, project or similar scheduling packages.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Keen eye for finishes and proven track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Self-starter with good judgment when working under pressure.
  • Effective manager able to motivate and drive workforce.
  • Commercial awareness and market competitor savvy.
