Nurse Manager Position for Endoscopy Unit

The Endoscopy Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of nurses in providing high-quality patient care.
This leadership position involves ensuring compliance with professional nursing standards, promoting continuing education, and implementing training programs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to NMBI requirements for professional nursing practice
- Promote ongoing professional development among staff
- Plan, implement, and participate in in-service training initiatives
- Stay updated on relevant nursing literature and developments in endoscopy nursing management, education, and practice
- Maintain efficient unit operations while upholding high patient care standards
- Participate in the nurse management team for effective service management
- Support the development and operation of assigned services
- Monitor and maintain relevant performance indicators for the Endoscopy Unit
- Foster a clinical learning environment within the unit
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be registered on the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Have at least 5 years of full-time post-registration experience, including 2 years in the related area as a CNM1/CNM2
- Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development
