Job Title: Senior Data Developer

Job Description:

Our organization builds and maintains a secure, highly available, fully automated, cloud-native platform for both online and offline analytics using modern data architecture.

We're looking for self-motivated professionals with a strong interest in design and development. Experience with software languages, data structures, object-oriented programming, and big data technologies or open-source contributions will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Independently design comprehensive technical solutions for complex business challenges and mentor team members on implementation.
  2. Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and high-quality product delivery.
  3. Define, design, and promote best practices that support a scalable, forward-thinking data environment.
  4. Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  5. Drive innovation, encourage creative thinking, and help foster a high-energy, solution-oriented team culture.

Requirements:

  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in big data or machine learning.
  • Ambitious and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Deep insights into software languages such as Java or Python; web-development skills and middlewares like Spring Boot; databases, caches; and Big Data technologies like Hadoop/Spark/Flink/Kafka.
  • Clean coding habits, attention to detail, and a focus on quality and best practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience contributing to open source is a plus.
  • Experience working in a multinational company is a plus.
