Job Overview

Job Description

  • Develop large-scale software systems with strong technical expertise and passion for tackling complex challenges.
  • Collaborate with senior SDEs and principal engineers to drive technical and architectural vision of SM systems.
  • Build scalable platform capabilities for data processing, metadata generation, guardrails, and anomaly detection.
  • Solve intricate problems in automated identity creation, web-to-Amazon namespace translation, and product classification.
  • Design and develop solutions for efficient storage and vending/search of products and related information.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, driving best practices around design, coding, testability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work on building cutting-edge Information Retrieval (IR) systems to mine the web and automatically create structured entities from unstructured/semi-structured data.
  2. Drive solutions from design to coding, testing, and deployment to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Utilize serverless and big data technologies to develop efficient algorithms operating on large datasets.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, advanced degrees preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of software development life cycle and good track record of shipping software on time.
