Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our workshop team as an apprentice in powered access and plant machinery inspection.

The successful candidate will assist with pre-delivery inspections, basic servicing tasks, and maintain accurate records of equipment condition. A strong mechanical aptitude and interest in powered access/plant machinery are essential for this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure equipment is safe and customer-ready
  • Assisting with routine servicing tasks such as fluid checks and system tests
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment condition and reporting any faults or defects to senior engineers
  • Working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of health and safety and workshop organization

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A registered apprenticeship programme
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in powered access/plant machinery
  • Attention to detail and methodical approach to inspection and testing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
