The successful candidate will lead the team to deliver key programs or projects within specified timelines, quality standards, and cost constraints.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing projects, stakeholders, and team members, including technical assessments of all assigned projects.
- Leading the team to deliver key programs or projects respecting quality, time, and cost constraints.

- Participating in and representing the function at relevant business forums.
- Developing a skills matrix aligned with product roadmaps, identifying training and coaching needs to ensure technical and team skills are maintained.
- Preparing and delivering annual budgets (headcount, expenses, capital) for review and approval. Managing personnel requisitions and capital expenditure requests.
- Providing guidance in complex situations, removing obstacles, allocating resources, and interfacing with other functions for issue resolution.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Assessing new product charters and financial plans to determine key deliverables like standard costs and launch requirements.
- Identifying, hiring, and managing contract SMEs to validate and release new processes/equipment to production according to Stryker standards.
- Partnering with HR to identify, acquire, develop, and retain top talent.
- Setting priorities with a sense of urgency to ensure timely delivery of new products respecting quality and cost constraints.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
