Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess fine dining restaurant experience and have a real understanding of hotel food and beverage operation.

This is a key leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work on own initiative and a structured and organized approach to work planning.

As Head Waiter you will be responsible for ensuring all guests are greeted in a warm and courteous fashion and tended to in a professional manner.

You will also be required to lead the completion of tasks outlined in the shift task list to a high level, represent the hotel's passion for customer service, and ensure each guest has a memorable experience.

Familiarize yourself with product offerings (menu, specials and ingredients, beverages, wine list, etc.) and sales and promotional activity. Upsell at every possible opportunity and carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company policy.
