Job Description:

The Peer Support Worker will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, providing formalized peer support and practical assistance to individuals using our services and their supporters. They will use their expertise gained through lived experience to inspire hope and recovery, as per the National Framework for Recovery in Mental Health.

The successful candidate will facilitate and support information sharing to promote choice, self-determination, and opportunities for connection with local communities. They will work alongside people using our services on a one-to-one and/or group basis, under the supervision of line management.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Personal experience of mental health difficulties, including insight into the recovery process;
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs;
  • Hold a Certificate in Peer Support Working in Mental Health.
