Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Peer Support Worker to join our Multidisciplinary Team.

This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to individuals using our services and their supporters.

The ideal candidate will have personal experience of mental health difficulties and be able to use their expertise to inspire hope and recovery in others.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide one-to-one and group support to individuals using our services
  2. Work under the supervision of line management to ensure effective delivery of support
  3. Act as a champion for recovery within Highfield Healthcare
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Personal experience of mental health difficulties
  • Experience of working with people with mental health needs
  • Certificate in Peer Support Working in Mental Health (delivered by Dublin City University)
