Artist Development Opportunity

The South East Venue Network (SEVN) is offering a unique artist development opportunity to support a professional arts practitioner in their career.

The selected artist will receive financial support of €14,000 to help develop their art practice, as well as access to facilities, technical, management and communications supports, and mentoring from participating arts centres within the network.

This award aims to provide opportunities for venues across the region to collaboratively support a professional arts practitioner with the time and resources to think, research, reflect and critically engage with their art.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must be artists of all disciplines living and making work in the region who have presented or exhibited work in a professional context within the last 5 years.

Applicants should submit an expression of interest and CV to ensure consideration.


Benefits

The successful candidate will receive:

  • Financial support of €14,000
  • Access to facilities, technical, management and communications supports
  • Mentoring from participating arts centres within the network

Additionally, the recipient will have the opportunity to engage with contemporary arts audiences and re-imagine their career and focus.
