Industrial Operative Role

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are skilled at performing various tasks to maintain the smooth operation of a meat production facility.

  • Picking, Packing, and Palletizing: Employees will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and palletizing products to meet customer demands.
  • Loading and Unloading Goods: They will also load and unload goods from vehicles and cold storage units, ensuring timely delivery and receiving of merchandise.
  • Quality Control: Quality checks will be carried out regularly, with any issues reported promptly to supervisors for resolution.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Workers will be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Completing Administrative Tasks: Necessary paperwork and stock records will be completed accurately and efficiently to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements and Skills
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, food production, or cold room environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods
  • Manual Handling Pass is preferred
