Warehouse Operations Specialist

Maintain a safe and efficient workflow by assisting with loading and unloading delivery trucks. Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, including locating and moving stock to pallets or crates. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety. Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs. Perform other duties as required, reporting to the dispatch manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unload cargo from delivery vehicles, checking items against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Locate and move stock to designated areas using a variety of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment to identify potential hazards and implement necessary repairs.
  • Update inventory records in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all discrepancies are promptly reported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives, providing support where needed to maintain a smooth and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment and a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work at heights safely.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
