Position: Financial Services Specialist (Full-Time, On-Site)

We require an accomplished Financial Services Specialist to prepare financial statements, manage bookkeeping, and file annual returns for our clients.

This role involves collaborating with clients to deliver practical financial advice and assisting with business planning.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and client-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit financial statements and audit files for micro and small companies in line with relevant accounting standards.
  • Manage bookkeeping and prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, ensuring timely submission of statutory documents.
  • File annual returns and statutory documents with the Companies Registration Office (CRO).
  • Liaise with Revenue on behalf of clients regarding tax matters.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff, providing feedback and oversight.
Requirements:
  • A fully qualified accountant (CPA or ACCA) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a practice environment.
  • Proven experience preparing accounts and audit files for small entities and CLGs.
  • Strong understanding of tax, payroll, and compliance obligations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines independently.
