Geotechnical CAD Draftsman

ATG is seeking a CAD Technician to join their team.
Job Description:Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for geotechnical engineering projects. Produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings and models that meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive CAD drawings using industry-standard software.
- Support engineers in creating accurate drawings for reports, design submissions, and construction packages.
- Manage and maintain drawing files according to company standards and project specifications.
- Interpret engineering sketches, notes, and design calculations to produce clear, precise drawings.
- Liaise with project engineers and other team members to ensure design intent is captured.
- Qualification: Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, CAD Design, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a CAD Technician, ideally in a civil, structural, or geotechnical environment.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD essential; experience with Civil 3D, Revit, or similar BIM tools beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work to deadlines.
- Good understanding of civil and geotechnical engineering principles desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
