Seeking an accomplished Medical Professional to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of innovative medical practices in a dynamic and growing medical environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Consultant to work in a leading hospital, delivering high-quality services and contributing to the growth of our medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients at this University Hospital.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical trainees.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call duties as per the hospital's rota.
  • Contribute to teaching and training programmes for medical students and postgraduate trainees.

Requirements:

  • Full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) – Specialist Division in General (Internal) Medicine must be active and in place to secure interview.
  • Extensive post-graduate experience in General Medicine.
  • Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
