Cognitive Scientist Position

Our research group is seeking a highly motivated Cognitive Scientist to contribute to various projects in experimental psychology, educational psychology, and virtual reality. The successful candidate will perform research on foreign-accented speech processing using behavioral measures and electroencephalography (EEG).

About the Research Project

A PhD position is available at the Nebrija University's CINC centre for advanced cognitive science research. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will work with us on an ANR-funded project (FLOW-sens) examining thalamo-cortical brain oscillations in perception.

The impact of emotions on social skills, cognition, and emotional regulation is crucial in understanding human behavior. New technologies offer opportunities to improve emotion recognition, especially for children.

Main Responsibilities
  • Designing experiments to investigate cognitive processes
  • Conducting research on artificial intelligence model verification, testing, and exploration
