Job Title: Senior Chemical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemical Engineer to join our production team in County Limerick, Republic of Ireland.

The key responsibilities of this position are:

  • Providing technical assistance for the production and maintenance departments
  • Crushing and grinding (comminution) equipment management
  • Process performance improvement including heat transfer applications and process design
  • Kiln Performance and Quality control issues resolution
  • Performance Monitoring and continuous process improvement

This role requires a strong technical background to interact with various departments at all stages of the production process.

You will be responsible for assisting with projects and process improvement assignments, directing contractors on specific jobs or projects, kiln overhauls, project start-ups, commissioning, resolving manufacturing problems and implementation of improvement programs, and preparation and maintenance of documented manuals/processes.

To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years relevant experience in industry, together with a degree or similar qualification in a Chemical Engineering related discipline
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Proven technical skills and business acumen
  • Project management experience and skills
