Site Manager & Project Manager Job Opportunity

Our client is a leading construction company in the Irish industry, seeking to recruit a Project Manager & Site Manager for a large project in the east Galway region. This job offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a major project with long-term opportunities.

As Site Manager / Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a quality product to the end user while maintaining professional and amicable relations with design teams and client representatives.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of health \\& safety, quality and client service ensuring that contracts are completed safely, on budget and snag free.
  • Reporting progress accurately and in a timely fashion to your manager.
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring their work is completed to the required standard with little or no rework.
  • Planning, coordinating, executing the works and delivering the project as per contract documents.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and supply chain.
  • Resourcing and scheduling work in line with the project construction program.
  • Working closely with the project QS, advising on any upcoming issues.
  • Having experience in either a trade or technical background.
  • Experience working with a top 20 main contractor.
  • A track record of delivering multi-million pound projects that demand an exceptionally high quality of finish.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential.
  • A good understanding of current Health \\& Safety legislation is needed.
  • Stable employment history (permanent or long-term contract).
  • Experience drawing up reports in relation to progress and resolving any issues that may occur.
