Cloud Architecture Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architecture Leader to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of remote experience in cloud architecture, with a proven track record of fostering vibrant relationships and providing exceptional opportunities for career growth while working with clients on ambitious projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements, balancing performance, scalability, and cost.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform to enable efficient and consistent deployments.
  • Automate the deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and services using CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and implement strategies for monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS-native tools or third-party solutions.
  • Mentor and guide teams on AWS architecture patterns, DevOps methodologies, and operational best practices.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a solutions architecture role, focusing on AWS.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux systems administration, networking, and security best practices.
