Job Title: Financial Insights Specialist

This role is a key member of the management team, responsible for providing accurate financial reporting to the business unit. As a deputy to the General Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting the site financial teams and preparing regular accounts.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Support preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial accounts with site financial teams.
  • Prepare variance analysis and commentary on weekly and monthly accounts.
  • Involvement in commercial projects to drive improved business performance.
  • Ownership and approval of system standard pricing updates.
  • Update and maintain financial systems.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Streamline processes, implement system improvements, and assist with ERP system implementation.
  • Support annual budget preparation and assist with internal and external audits.
  • Site project involvement, including new building or machinery acquisition for product launches.
  • Analyze results for profit and production, and prepare bi-monthly Board meeting minutes.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, Suppliers, and Procurement Team.

Requirements:

  • 2 years post-accounting qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Commercial mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Skills in Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis, Profitability Analysis, Variance Analysis, and Business Partnering.
