Our company is seeking a Senior EHS Professional to lead the development and implementation of a global environment, health and safety auditing program.
About the Role:This key position will oversee compliance with external regulations and internal policies/procedures worldwide. We are looking for an individual who can leverage their expertise in environmental, health and safety management to drive strategic risk mitigation initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive audit framework, including pre-audit planning, on-site audits, and post-audit reporting.
- Manage and analyze EHS data within our management system, generating metrics, trending data, and providing insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to develop best-in-class EHS audit practices, frameworks, and policies.
- Anticipate future trends and obstacles in EHS auditing and develop proactive strategies to address them.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field, plus 10+ years of EHS experience, or Master's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field, plus 8-10+ years of EHS experience.
- Prior experience in implementing EHS regulations, conducting incident investigations, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and resolve conflict.
