Job Title: Research Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work on the ADAPT project, focusing on the assessment of biogas production in food processing residues.

Responsibilities:
  • Operation and monitoring of 500mL batch laboratory scale anaerobic digesters (AMPTS-II system).
  • Operation and monitoring of 5L laboratory scale continuously stirred tank reactors.
  • Operation and monitoring of a laboratory scale up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in environmental science or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a laboratory setting.
