Senior Clinical Research Leader

As a seasoned professional in Clinical Development, you have the unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team as an Associate Director. Your role will play a pivotal part in shaping the therapeutic area of Cardiometabolic Health.
In this 12-month contract position, you will oversee consultants, associates, and assistants supporting trials, fostering a collaborative culture and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve clinical development goals within the broader Clinical Design Delivery Analytics (CDDA) organization.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Planning: Collaborate with functional and team leadership to provide operational input into feasibility and resource requirements for clinical plans.
- Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction and leadership to Clinical Trial Project Managers (CTPMs) to implement Regional/Global enrollment strategies and achieve milestones.
- Resource Allocation: Align resources based on team priorities and regional trial participation.
- Trial Management Expertise: Facilitate problem-solving, shared learning, and decision-making across clinical functions.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining curriculum maps and training programs, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and clinical best practices, and promoting quality in clinical research activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or University degree in a scientific or health-related field, with 5 years of clinical research experience or relevant experience, as well as strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and technical expertise in clinical trial development.
