Senior Clinical Development Manager

The Senior Clinical Development Manager provides leadership and strategic direction for the clinical development team, ensuring a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement clinical plans.
  • Leads the development and implementation of regional/global enrollment strategies.
  • Manages study management personnel workload based on portfolio, global, and regional requirements.
  • Facilitates discussions within functional counterparts to manage team priorities and address unplanned demands.
  • Recruits, retains, and develops top talent to ensure a high-performing team culture.
  • Facilitates problem-solving, shared learning, and decision-making across clinical functions.
  • Ensures inspection readiness of respective study team(s).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or health-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical trial experience with a strong working knowledge of the clinical research process.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated technical and process expertise in clinical trial development.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence and lead across clinical functions.
  • Proven ability to coach others and manage staff virtually and across borders and cultures.

This role requires a strong understanding of the drug development process and interdependencies of various tasks and functional groups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing business plans and driving productivity and quality improvements within the clinical organization.
