Job Title: Director of Issue Management Quality Assurance

About the Role:
  • Provide independent and objective assessment on the effectiveness, quality, and timeliness of issue remediation plans.
  • Lead comprehensive QA reviews across assigned portfolios of high-severity issues, ensuring compliance with management policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain consistent and best-in-class QA protocols, providing oversight and reporting throughout the lifecycle of high-severity issues.
  • Evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes, delivering compelling presentations and influencing executive audiences.
Requirements:
  • SIGNIFICANT experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment and ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details.
  • Develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience in control-related functions in the financial industry, including implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
  • Deep understanding of laws, rules, regulations, and best practices, as well as company policies, standards, and procedures.
