Job Overview:

As a Data Scientist within the Office of the CTO, you will play a vital role in providing cutting-edge protection and peace of mind to our customers.

You will leverage your Large Language Model (LLM) and Generative AI expertise to identify new opportunities for application across the personal security space, in addition to improving threat protection capabilities. Utilize your data visualization and storytelling skills to present research to audiences ranging from fellow data scientists to senior executives.

This position is located in Ireland, specifically Dublin or Cork. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to one of these locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply subject matter expertise in traditional ML, LLM, and Generative AI to develop machine learning-driven solutions protecting customers' digital lives.
  • Utilize statistical and machine learning knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement upon existing protection capabilities using supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques.
  • Clean data and build pipelines to implement model monitoring dashboards and machine learning models.
  • Explore raw and cleaned data to uncover insights for data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities utilizing big data from various sources.
  • Use data visualization techniques and storytelling skills to convey research results and recommendations backed by data.
  • Own data science projects of varying scope from concept to delivery, focusing on delivering a solution to address the original problem statement.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with and understanding LLMs and Generative AI.
  • 5-7 years of experience building high-quality machine learning models.
  • Experience in fine-tuning LLMs and classification is key.
  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or other quantitative field.
  • Extensive experience with Python, PySpark, R, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Databricks.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with an international team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills applicable to data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, model development, model measurement, model deployment, and model monitoring.
