We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced External Audit Senior Manager to join our team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit engagements, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring that audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements, reviewing audit workpapers and providing feedback to audit teams, identifying and communicating audit issues and recommendations to clients, and managing and mentoring audit staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple client portfolios and lead large-scale audit engagements.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior stakeholders at top accounting firms.
- Ensure all audit work is completed to the highest professional standards and meets regulatory requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback to audit teams on their workpapers and help them improve their performance.
- Identify and communicate complex audit issues and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to help them grow professionally.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- ACA Chartered certification or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in external audit.
- Excellent technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Advanced understanding of auditing principles and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
