Hotel Accountant Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our hotel.

About the Role:
  • Roster Management: You will be responsible for effective roster management to adjust to business demands and revenue expectations, working closely with other heads of department.
  • Revenue Forecasting: You will be required to forecast weekly revenue from food, beverage, and spa operations.
  • Payroll Processing: You will be responsible for processing payroll and payroll-related activities, including P30 returns.
  • Financial Reporting: You will be responsible for preparing month-end accounts, including profit and loss reconciliations and bimonthly VAT returns.
  • Purchase and Stock Management: You will be required to manage purchases and stock to align with business requirements, working closely with other heads of department.
  • Audit Support: You will provide assistance in end-of-year audits, working closely with auditors.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: You will assist in monthly forecasts and annual budget processes.
  • Financial Controls: You will ensure robust financial controls across the business, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
