European Technology Risk Manager

This is a pivotal position within our European Technology Risk and Security Team, a new function of the Office of the CIO, Europe. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the creation of a Centre of Excellence for technology risk reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating dynamic, insightful, and intelligent risk reporting for European Technology, providing key decision-makers with timely and robust understanding of the risk profile and its impact on IT strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement European Technology (ET) risk reporting, leading coordination of consistent high-value quality reports that provide both a transparent ET view of the technology risk profile and a business line position.
- Ensure quality, accurate, and complete reporting, providing oversight and challenge. Act as an escalation point for issues.
- Oversight and management of European Risk Technology Risk Committee calendar, agenda, and Terms of Reference.
- Timely preparation of risk material for regular ET Risk Committees, Board meetings, and LifeCo that facilitates good risk management conversations and supports decision-making through clear, simple articulation of the risk position.
- Timely preparation of risk material to support creation of regular regulatory updates.
- Evaluate effectiveness of existing processes for collation, aggregation, and analysis of risk data to produce useful and insightful information to assist risk-based decision-making.
- Develop efficient and effective processes for risk data collection, aggregation, and analysis.
- Risk appetite reporting to demonstrate how ET manages technology risk in line with agreed risk appetite.
- Control design and effectiveness reporting to provide an accurate and transparent view of the technology control landscape using a risk-based approach.
We are looking for an individual with:
- A strong background in technology risk with supporting risk qualifications.
- Significant knowledge and a proven track record in risk reporting in a technology environment.
- An ability to shape risk reporting to fully support overall strategy.
- Experience in designing risk-based reporting and developing reporting metrics.
- The ability to partner with senior business executives and technology leaders to connect technology risk and business goals to achieve successful outcomes.

What You Will Need To Be SuccessfulTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years of experience in technology risk.
- A degree-level education.
- Skill in partnership working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- A proactive approach to identifying solutions.
