Senior Hull Maintenance Specialist

At sea or in port, we rely on our skilled hull artificers to ensure the structural integrity and operational readiness of our vessels.
The role involves overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the ship's hull, fittings, and associated systems. This includes ensuring that ships remain seaworthy under all conditions and contributing to emergency response situations, including firefighting and damage control duties.
- Maintenance and repairs: Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary maintenance tasks to prevent issues from arising.
- Crew management: Lead and manage a team of crew members to ensure the vessel is properly maintained and prepared for operations.
- Technical expertise: Possess and apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with the ship's systems and structure.
- Emergency response: Participate in emergency response situations, such as fires and damage control operations, to protect people and property.
- Citizenship: Be an Irish citizen or legally entitled to work in Ireland.
- Character & Fitness: Meet medical, physical, and security clearance standards.
- Age: Be between 18 and 39 years old.
- Qualifications: Hold a HETAC Level 7 Bachelor of Science in Craft Technology (Wood), National Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery, Cabinet Making/Wood Manufacturing and Finishing, Shipwright or national equivalents.
