Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Actuary to lead our team in Dublin. As a key player, you will be responsible for maintaining and validating internal models in accordance with Solvency II and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and validate internal models in line with Solvency II and regulatory requirements.
  • Support pricing models, portfolio management, and reinsurance transactions, focusing on Property & Casualty.
  • Regularly review assumptions, data, and methodologies to ensure alignment with risk profiles.
  • Monitor and analyze the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) and its components for ongoing model effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and support to actuarial trainees and analysts, contributing to their professional growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in general insurance, reinsurance, or capital management.
  • Current work towards or achievement of Actuary certification (e.g., CIP, ASA).
  • Strong skills in Excel, VBA, Python, or similar tools. Knowledge of Solvency II and capital modeling is a plus.
  • Able to present complex technical information to senior management and stakeholders effectively.
