Reinsurance Specialist

As a Reinsurance Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and pricing non-life proportional & non-proportional treaty reinsurance business.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The role involves reviewing and contributing to the development of policy wordings for internal treaty reinsurance business, engaging in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and outcomes, and sharing technical knowledge with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze various property & casualty reinsurance treaty submissions and present findings.
  • Conduct transaction pricing using standard tools, while also developing custom pricing models to enhance accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with the local specialist team of reinsurance underwriters and actuaries to establish and support technical pricing opinions.
  • Establish strong working relationships with colleagues within the organization at group level and internationally as appropriate.
Requirements / Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Actuary.
  • Qualified Actuary.
  • Reinsurance underwriting and pricing experience in non-life business.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
