Senior Data Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced data engineering leader to drive our digital transformation and improve data governance.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage a team of data engineers providing data engineering support across the organisation.
  • Establish and maintain clear data governance policies and structures ensuring security, privacy, accuracy and availability of data.
  • Develop and implement a data strategy that supports the digital transformation of our organisation as set out in the new strategy.
  • Establish and maintain suitable data warehousing solutions that can scale and handle increasingly complex data analytics requirements.
About You:
  • A bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in the data engineering field with 1-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with the implementation of data governance in a complex organisation.
  • Experience with complex, high volume, multi-dimensional data, as well as data models based on unstructured and structured data sets.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
