Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Radiographer, you will work in providing high-quality radiology services to all patients.
The role involves working knowledge of radiology policies and procedures, implementing them effectively and efficiently. It also requires provision of a high-quality clinical imaging service.
A key responsibility is ensuring all audit requirements are undertaken accurately and comprehensively.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant modalities and management of the list of examinations each day, both scheduled out-patients and urgent in-patients or out-patients, is required.
Safe operation of diagnostic imaging equipment and ancillary equipment is crucial for fulfilling clinical duties effectively.
Clear communication with department staff, Radiologists, wards and/or other hospital departments is necessary to ensure effective use of scanning time.
Qualifications:
- BSc Diagnostic Radiography
- Qualification must be recognised and validated by a relevant authority
- CORU registration
- Experience in a hospital environment is essential
