
Full Time Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller & Office Administrator to manage our company's credit control and accounts payable functions.
Job Description:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of credit control, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of invoices, receipts, and debt collection.
- Built strong relationships with clients and their accounts teams for timely payments, maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Process and reconcile invoices, checking and posting receipts, managing invoices promptly and accurately.
- Prepare and issue monthly client statements, update records, perform monthly cash reconciliations, prepare and reconcile VAT returns, and prepare and reconcile monthly and year-end accounts.
- Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts from company debtors in a timely manner.
- Evaluate new credit requests, review customers' credit rankings with banks as necessary, set up terms and conditions of credit in agreement with directors, negotiate repayment plans, and liaise with outsourced debt collectors when deemed necessary.
- Keep records of contact made with debtors to help identify risky debtors and provide an audit trail for any legal action that might be necessary.
Additional responsibilities include allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances, providing general day-to-day administrative support to directors and office managers, managing company expenses, working alongside the office manager to manage staff timesheets, and keeping the company updated on new and innovative changes in credit control/accounts payable work processes.

- Show excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Possess necessary technology skills required to carry out this role.
- Have impeccable attention to detail, particularly numbers, spelling, and dates.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish objectives.
- Be prepared to put in additional time within reason if required.
- Hold a minimum 3-4 years previous experience in a similar role.
