We are seeking a full-time Deli Assistant to join our team in Wexford.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the daily running of the deli counter, providing excellent customer service and promoting sales, working as part of a team to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times, and operating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the deli counter
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with customers to increase sales
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive sales and meet customer demands
  • Maintain rigorous standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a deli or similar setting is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and use initiative
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to perform well under pressure
  • Familiarity with food hygiene practices is beneficial
