The role of Audit Project Manager is to oversee all phases of assigned audits, adhering to Corporate Audit Services (CAS) policies and procedures with minimal supervision.

This position will be responsible for conducting audits related to U.S. Bank Europe (USBE), a subsidiary of U.S. Bank. USBE operates in multiple European jurisdictions, including Ireland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Luxembourg, Spain, Germany, and Poland.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. The Audit Project Manager assists the Audit Manager with audit planning requirements, including the creation of an audit planning analysis document.
  2. Completes and/or supervises completion of Risk and Control Design Assessments.
  3. Conducts and/or supervises Control Effectiveness Testing, ensuring that all test procedures meet the objectives for the areas in scope for the audit.
  4. Reviews all workpaper documentation for accuracy and completeness, adhering to CAS policies and procedures.
  5. Supervises staff and senior auditors, providing training as needed, and conducts quarterly performance assessments.
  6. Identifies potential issues and assists the Audit Manager in presenting them to the business line.
  7. Assists the Audit Manager with summarizing audit results, including drafting the audit report and finalizing audit workpapers and issue documents.
  8. Coordinates efforts between external providers for assistance in audits and coordinates workpaper review by external auditors.
  9. Performs other duties as requested by CAS management.
