We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, flexible, reliable, and enjoys working with a supportive dental team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform oral hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
  • Take and process dental radiographs to the prescription of a dentist (having completed a course in dental radiography).
  • Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations on an individual basis.
  • Give advice in relation to oral health, including the planning and implementation of oral health promotion programmes, smoking cessation and diet analysis in relation to the prevention of dental caries and personalized plaque control programs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Confirm medical and dental histories.
  • Record the hard and soft tissue and periodontal status.
  • Provide supra and subgingival scaling, including comprehensive root surface debridement and apply medicaments when indicated.
  • Apply to the teeth and/or gums appropriate prophylactic materials, including solutions, gels, and sealants.
  • Re-fit crowns with temporary cement and place temporary dressings when crowns or fillings become dislodged during treatment by an oral health professional.
  • Administer local infiltration and block anaesthesia to patients whom s/he is treating to the prescription of a dentist (having completed a course in local infiltration and block anaesthesia).
