About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough behavioural assessments, developing and implementing individualised support plans, and providing ongoing training and guidance to staff members. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to promoting the autonomy and independence of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Behavioural Assessment and Intervention:
    - Conduct thorough behavioural assessments to identify individual needs and formulate tailored intervention plans.
  2. Staff Training and Development:
    - Develop and deliver training programs on positive behavioural support, de-escalation techniques, and trauma-informed care.
  3. Service User Support:
    - Engage closely with service users to understand their needs and preferences, involving them in the creation of their support plans.
