Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled microbiologist to join our team in a part-time job-sharing position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in a laboratory environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and comply with laboratory documentation and computerized systems.
  • Understand regulations and business processes required to maintain a laboratory.
  • Perform environmental and product microbiological tests as required.
  • Develop and update procedures for the plant related to microbiological and environmental testing.
  • Train laboratory staff in operational tests.
  • Carry out training as per training plan.
  • Validate equipment and test methods for microbiological tests.
  • Transfer microbiological test methods.
  • Develop microbiological laboratory procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date, complete, and precise records of all tests performed.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a third-level qualification in microbiology.
  • Possess a good knowledge of aseptic processes manipulation together with experience within a GLP/GMP environment and knowledge of current EU/FDA/ICH/HPRA guidelines.
