Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and growing business within the Corporate Gifting industry.

This role will collaborate with all teams across the business and report directly to our CFO. You will be an integral part of the finance team and be responsible for month-end reporting as well as working closely with the Accounts Assistants, Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Manager, and CFO as well as other colleagues.

  • Month-End & Reporting: Own the preparation of monthly management accounts, including posting journals, accruals, prepayments, and conducting revenue, gross margin, and cost analysis.
  • Prepare and reconcile the cash flow statement, balance sheet, and P&L with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Support year-end audit preparation, liaising directly with auditors and providing all required schedules and documentation.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have experience in financial operations covering month-end close, reconciliations, VAT returns, and management reporting. The person should have track record of working independently and taking ownership of established processes with minimal supervision.

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, the successful candidate should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of translating finance into clear terms for non-finance colleagues.

Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA qualification
  • Strong technical accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and ideally cloud-based accounting and ERP systems
