Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Technical Specialist to support the delivery and maintenance of our immersive experiences.

This role combines hands-on technical operations with occasional facilities and maintenance support, ensuring a seamless visitor experience.

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, projection mapping equipment, lighting, and sound to ensure high-quality daily shows and events.
  • Assist in the planning, setup, and decommissioning of exhibitions and events.
  • Work with external suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of services and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all operations comply with health and safety policies, risk assessments, and technical regulations.
  • Provide facilities and maintenance support as required, including oversight of venue infrastructure and minor repairs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical theatre, live events, or immersive environments.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, projection mapping, and lighting control.
  • Practical knowledge of facilities maintenance and contractor management.

Job Description

The Technical Specialist will play a key role in managing AV systems, projection mapping technology, and liaising with external suppliers, while also assisting in budget monitoring.

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in technology and immersive experiences, and be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.

The successful applicant will have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
