We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant QQI qualification - minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent, as well as extensive experience working with service users in the disability sector.
Key responsibilities will include empowering individuals to live independent lives, supporting the development of person-centred plans, and fostering community partnerships to promote active citizenship.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for transporting service users to access the community, managing key worker duties, and maintaining excellent communication skills.
The perfect candidate will have:
- A valid manual driving license and access to their own vehicle for work purposes;
- An excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a relevant sector;
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
