Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and well-regarded legal team. As a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive, you will manage a broad caseload of Private Client matters, working closely with high-net-worth clients and providing expert advice on Probate, Wills, Trusts, Estate and Tax Planning, and Services for the Elderly.

You will have direct client contact and work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their expertise further within an established firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own caseload of Private Client matters
  • Handle day-to-day client communications, both in person and remotely
  • Liaise with the probate registry, courts, HM Land Registry, HMRC, experts, and agencies
  • Deal with the administration of estates
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities and maintain existing contacts
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce blog content on Private Client topics
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' PQE in Private Client law
  • Proven experience working with HNW clients on Probate, Wills, Trusts, Estate/Tax Planning, and Services for the Elderly (essential)
  • Property law experience (desirable)
  • Ability to drive and access to own vehicle (desirable)
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and proactive approach
  • Organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Confident, professional communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Flexible and adaptable to client and team needs
  • Experience using Case Management Systems and Laserforms (essential)
  • Proficient in Excel (essential)
