The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Developing and implementing microbiology testing processes.
  2. Managing laboratory staff and resources.
  3. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Coordinating microbiology investigations and technical transfers.
  5. Overseeing contract laboratory testing and interacting with regulatory authorities.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology.
  • More than 10 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role (Supervisor/Manager level).
  • Thorough knowledge of microbiology testing and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in internal audits and compliance.
