This is a leadership role in a growing organisation, responsible for developing microbiology testing processes, managing laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and setup of the Microbiology Laboratory.
Oversee microbiology testing processes and infrastructure.
Manage method and specification-related change controls.
Handle microbiology investigations and technical transfers.
Oversee contract laboratory testing and liaise with regulatory authorities.
Work cross-functionally to maintain compliance and streamline processes.
Develop next-level leadership within the Quality Control and Analytical R&D teams.
Support strategic expansion of inhalation microbiology capabilities with global teams.
Identify efficiency improvements in quality control operations and develop KPIs.
What You Need: Bachelors or Masters degree in Microbiology.
10+ years experience in a Microbiology Laboratory environment.
Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role (Supervisor/Manager level).
Strong knowledge of microbiology testing and regulatory standards.
Excellent organisation, time management, and leadership skills.
Experience in internal audits and compliance.
Strong communication and presentation skills for team training.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
