The Fund Accountant role at U.S. Bank Global Fund Services is a critical part of our team.

As a Fund Accountant, you'll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting and administrative servicing requirements for various alternative fund products and structures.

You'll work closely with clients to provide premier service standards, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve best practice operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate and timely production of Net Asset Value per unit
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all aspects of each fund's portfolio
  • Reconciling trades, cash, positions, and market values
  • Ensuring all expenses and income are accurately accounted for
  • Liaising and assisting with audit queries on annual financial accounts
  • Liaising directly with clients to ensure consistently high standards of service
  • Assisting with training/mentoring of new staff
  • Proactively managing daily reconciling items
  • Reviewing processes to streamline and create efficiency

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Degree in Business or Finance related discipline
  • 1-3 years' experience as a Fund Accountant / Fund Administration
  • Knowledge of financial products
  • High level of numeracy skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent PC skills – knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Communicative with the ability to work well within a team
